Rest…and the “Floating Cloud” feeling

Good day sunshines,

Hope you guys are doing good. I have of late, well for the longest time really been feeling like a great big cloud; pregnant with rain; that keeps floating, bloated as is in the air and wont get release!! I’m in a constant form of exhaustion and body aches!

Amsterdam, Mpumalanga Province.

Have you ever wandered into a place and a person who doesn’t even know you says, ” You look tired, how can I help? What’s going on?”. That has been my story everyday since the year began. Like I am in a constant state of pursuit, and oh so tired but still the treadmill goes!!

And then I ran into this Scripture verse in the Bible about rest: Exodus 20:8-10

8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.” NIV
And this is a popular verse and easy to just skim through but this time it had me thinking. Why would God put this in Scripture. Why would it be important to emphasize that we rest? Well, now I know!! Because our bodies are build to work, then take time to recuperate.

It is okay to take charge of our dreams, pursue them and realize them. But we should also not let our dreams be ALL of our life!! That is my mistake. There a so many things that need us in any given day, add family, add bills, add responsibilities, add relationships, add, add, add….we just cant be all things to all people, all the time. We need the rest.

So as I pen this, I am going to shut down, get off the grid and take time to smell the flowers, literally!
I hope you also take the time to rest, even if its a power nap in the middle of tons of work, you need it. And remember, God himself rested on the 7th day and set the precedence for us to follow. I will be seeing you soon

Hello Sunshines,

It’s been a million years and a half. I trully apologise for the silence.

Good news is, I’ve been working to build up my personal brand as a bossgirl. So that’s taken a lot of my time, attention and effort…not to mention the cents in the bank! But all is good, when God is on the driver’s seat.

I was recently challanged or should I say confronted ?… on the fact that I have neglected the things I had been doing, that you guys have enjoyed reading and seeing me do. Again Im sorry about that.

I’m busy rebranding the blog( youtube account and all my social media platforms), to make it more personal but also the domain owned by myself; which is exciting news really! (insert big toothy grin emoji here)

So look forward to a seamless, chic blog with REGULAR SYSTEMATIC posts for my side **pinky promise.

I shall see you soon on  cyberville loves

As always, God bless

2016 …The Year that was…

Hello sunshines

It’s been a moment and I have missed you so.Thought I should write you guys and loop you in on what’s been keeping me away.

So last  year was quite a year for me and saw me on the 9th of December celebrating a year in my fashion brand ISABEL COSA. Follow me on Instagram! Username: isabelcosa

It’s been a year of learning, stretching, crying and deep deep laughter. building a business from scratch out of nothing took guts, took focus, passion, determination and buckets  of faith that God has me. And He has been quite fantastically faithful to me!

I met young people who took my hand firmly in theirs and held me up when I fell…tired. You know who you are…thank you

Here’s an attempt to sum up a year in pictures…
