Last night Hollywood’s elite came out in droves and once again gave us a feast for the eye in the finest designer attire. Yes it was The Oscars 2015 : 87th Academy Awards where we give the actors and actresses a nod for their hard-work, and a chance for them to show us what’s in fashion (not that we ever give them a break!). The awards were hosted by funny man and actor Neil Patrick Harris.

So here is a round-up of some of the best looks for the night ( I must say writing this post was a bit of a challenge as the celebrities brought it, so yes if I had a choice I would do a longer post (…..wait I do have a choice, hop on to my YouTube channel and watch the video also, it features even more lovely ensembles for you….)

A special tribute was made for those we have lost but the video due to rights agreements, is only offered to viewers within the United States and its territories.

my top 5 makeup/hair looks

Most of the night’s hair was sleeked or textured buns, loose romantic waves and the mid-part with a few spotting cropped hair like Scarlett.. The makeup was neutral peachy tones, very minimal and elegant with the occasional classic red lip as in the case of Solange. The makeup was just the perfect canvas to display the stars’ jeweled & gemstone accessories that were spotted on most of them. Here are my favorites:
