My Spring Wishlist

Hello Sunshines,

It’s been far too long since our last chit chat and I have missed your light! I have been well, and super busy with building the empire. I will be launching my spring/summer collection later in the year so stayed tuned for that…it’s pretty exciting news for me.

So today’s post is all about Spring (the season and the store). I have checked out their website and picked out a few outfit combinations I am wishing for come spring ( a girl can wish and who knows they might just come true)! So without further adue let’s shop:

GIRL’S NIGHT OUT

Me and my girls always bring it when we go out. We believe it’s important to look good for you. So here’s my outfit choice combination

What I love from this combo is the throwback to the 70s which is hot right now, the girly and flirty feel of the romper and the accessories make for the perfect outfit.

THE DATE

Once in a while it’s impotant to go for a date and do something new with your partner. I love to always wear black as it is timeless on such occassions and sexy without being trashy

I love the sexy tassels on these heels they are so feminine and complement the dres to the T. The accessories help bring a hardness to the outfit and balance to an otherwise too girly combo, making it fit for a woman.

THE BEACH BREAK

I love the ocean and every minute i can spare I love to just go and look at the waves crash and taste the salt in the air. Don’t forget your sunscreen and remember to hydrate.

Hope these outfits inspire you. You can shop these loooks and many more at www.spring.com .

[Style Diaries] – Winter, meet Colour…

Hello Loves,

Yes, as you have noticed I am trying to be consistent with my blogging now thanks to the gems of wisdom I am getting frombyRegina.com …… and also a huge motivation is coming from you my lovely readers who take the time in their busy day to read, like and comment on my blog, I am grateful and I appreciate each one of you.

We all know how it is easy to just gravitate towards black & greys during winter…..as if winter isn’t washed out enough off color!!! This winter I told myself ” Gugu, darling….you are going to do something new for a change. It’s a new year, think daring, think all is possible, think kaleidoscope, think color……cause only you make the rules when it comes to style” and then I said to myself, well yeah!

So here’s today’s post on coloring in that basic black power suit.

The All White Trend via Stripes ‘n Studs as seen on NYFW Spring 2014

Hi lovely ones,

So I have been asked on Instagram to do daily posts on my OOTDs, so I complied and I am thankful and greatly encouraged by the positive feedback I am getting from you guys so Imma keep doing this for you guys.

On to today’s post :

The color white dominated the NYFW Spring 2014 runways in a major way and of course I wasn’t just going to let this slide without creating my own take of the trend. Things to remember: you do not necessarily have to wear the same shade of white, you can mix different “whites” and just be creative about it – like I always say: it’s your style!

So here’s my interpretation of the trend for the office lady

As always, God bless and smoochies,
Gee

This Jacket has such detail in the cut it is modern and very much office appropriate without being too ” officy” if I’m making any sense. And the best part is you can just throw on some jeans and you are off to a night in the town! And a white button down is and should be a wardrobe stable, okay ladies? MKAY!

The Studs on these pants are everything! They are still formal with a bit of edgy and fun detail, and the gold just
 catches the eye
Pointy toe heels are office appropriate, glam, sophisticated. The suede makes everything polished and put together, very put together.

The whole look with just a tiny pop of color!
