My Spring Wishlist

Hello Sunshines,

It’s been far too long since our last chit chat and I have missed your light! I have been well, and super busy with building the empire. I will be launching my spring/summer collection later in the year so stayed tuned for that…it’s pretty exciting news for me.

So today’s post is all about Spring (the season and the store). I have checked out their website and picked out a few outfit combinations I am wishing for come spring ( a girl can wish and who knows they might just come true)! So without further adue let’s shop:

GIRL’S NIGHT OUT

Me and my girls always bring it when we go out. We believe it’s important to look good for you. So here’s my outfit choice combination

What I love from this combo is the throwback to the 70s which is hot right now, the girly and flirty feel of the romper and the accessories make for the perfect outfit.

THE DATE

Once in a while it’s impotant to go for a date and do something new with your partner. I love to always wear black as it is timeless on such occassions and sexy without being trashy

I love the sexy tassels on these heels they are so feminine and complement the dres to the T. The accessories help bring a hardness to the outfit and balance to an otherwise too girly combo, making it fit for a woman.

THE BEACH BREAK

I love the ocean and every minute i can spare I love to just go and look at the waves crash and taste the salt in the air. Don’t forget your sunscreen and remember to hydrate.

Hope these outfits inspire you. You can shop these loooks and many more at www.spring.com .

All images used cutsey of spring.com. Thank you Bri for asking me to write this post, it was an absolute pleasure. As always God bless, till the next post.

Love Lessons

Hello Sunshine’s,

Its February and love is in the air. So I thought it would be a good time for us to talk about the lessons I have learned or had to relearn.

So here’s my top Lessons on Love

1. You can’t love from a broken place

It’s quite the norm for us ladies to expect that a relationship will bring us joy and happiness. There’s nothing wrong with wanting happiness, the only problem is getting into a new relationship with wounds from the past. If your last relationship broke you, allow God to heal you first, be happy alone and you will be able to give & accept love without punishing your new man for sins he didn’t commit. A healthy relationship is made up of two whole individuals.

2. Love is what remains when the butterflies die in your stomach.

Love is very different from attraction. We may like the way a person looks or dresses and this may draw us to them. Love is what happens when you are OK with the parts of someone that will never change, their character. And this is only found over time, when both of you make a deliberate decision to spend time together and stick together even in disagreement. Love is unselfish

3. Keep Talking

It of great importance to continue speaking to one another. If the conversation is stopped, assumptions creep in and a small hiccup can become a mountain in minutes and I am also guilty of this( working on it). Be open, be candid about how a certain thing is making you feel so your partner knows how you function.

4. Its a Give & Take thing

Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is not a weakness but a strength. Only those who are true to themselves can allow to be vulnerable and this builds trust. Give of yourself, if it works well good for you but if it doesn’t at least you were true to yourself and will have no regrets.

I am by no ways a professional life coach, I’m just sharing from my experiences and from the people close to me. I wish you all the love in the world not just on Valentine’s Day but all year round.

As always God bless, stay chic and beautiful

Got Bra-blems?

Hello Sunshine’s,

I first would like to wish you all a happy, happy new year and may this be the best, the most successful and the most impeccably styled year ever!

So today I’m writing my first ever collaborated post, how exciting is that! And we are discussing ….drumsroll please….bra problems, yes that so important fella we all need but ever so annoying he gets to be the first one off as soon as I get home(anyone ?)

So I’m one of those tiny chested ladies( proud to be) and believe it or not, shopping for a bra is just plain agony.

If I do find the scarce size 32 AA then the band around my body will be too tight or to wide which either one of the two: cut circulation and weals at the end of the day

Or

A perfect cup and a wide band. Solution here is to hook the bra beyond the three hook sizes which are too big onto a hem or stitching in the actual bra…hello holes! Imagine now having to undress in front of others!!

Now if by some miracle the band fits snuggly around my body, the cups are never the right size, leading to these gaping holes on the top of my bra where the fullness of my girls is clearly lacking! Tighten the straps, you might think…already done and there comes the under boob.  There is no winning here!!!

I wish there would be bra designers who are sensitive to the teeny chested woman and cater for body size + cup size to the T. Maybe that should be my next business venture hey. In the meantime I will be over here with my gaping bra cups or my snug holey bra (as I put my hand inside my shirt to fish out my strapless bra as it makes its way to my navel**)

Please comment down below and let me know if you have any bra- blems you are dealing with or dealt with and what solutions you took to rectify so we can all get to that chic factor in 2016.

Here is a chart created by ThirdLove that I hope will help you as you go pick out your next bra. Definitely check out ThirdLove’s bra collection! Till next time, happy shopping!
